I think that if the tick bite and can exist) an exchange, the dog (or person to get infected files .. separately from the head. I'm looking for signs of the limes and keep an eye on your dog to be safe.
You need to get your dog to the prevention of ticks to avoid future situations.

Each time an animal is a deer tick can contract Lyme disease. When conducting the tick, it would not matter if your head is not that have been taken to Lyme bacteria to your dog. From head to have finished in the bacteria most likely was already transferred.
We can only hope that does not cross the disease.
Good luck.

I have no personal experience, but I have read and heard, it can still be achieved if the head is not removed. A call to your vet does not hurt.
